[M10N] Download error - what to do now?

Hi,

I finally really wanted to try Cocoon 2.2 and evaluate it. But unfortunately I
failed early - my Maven nightmares becoming true ;)

I switched to different mirrors and even tried to call those URLs in the browser
(including http://repo1.maven.org/maven2) but all give this 403. The question
is: what to do now?

I wanted at least to try if it is only me and have a look at Cocoon's Continuum
in the Cocoon zone. But I can't find this error.

Regards,
Jörg

You can build cocoon on a non-restricted machine, starting from a
clean repository, and then take the "filled" repo to the restricted
machine.

Indeed a proxy problem - but only for this file, for other plugins it works. Our
proxy tries to parse it and stumbles. Don't know how to solve it yet. Have to
ask our IT tomorrow as I can not work around the proxy from the machine I'm
trying to build Cocoon (where normally I have not even access to the proxy ...).

Temporary network hickup, proxy problems ? Below url resolves fine
for me from a browser.
http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-site-
plugin/2.0-beta-5/maven-site-plugin-2.0-beta-5.jar

do other maven projects work for you ?
