ApacheFlex Installer Download: "Page not found"

Hi,
clicking on the "SDK Installer Download Button" results in a "Page not
found" error.
Is there something broken?

Thanks,
OLaf

The installer download now depends on a proxy server due to some changes
to Apache’s CMS. We’ll have to update the Installer Badge code to
compensate for the Apache CMS change.

In the mean time, it sounds like you found the download links at the
bottom of the Installer page?

I cannot access the crossdomain.xml [1], it seems that our company firewall
blocks it. ("Target service not allowed")
Moreover I'm behind a proxy, that might be also a problem.

I remember that I've had some problems in the past using the installer at
work inside our company network cause of our proxy. If that was the case
I've started the installer at home without problems.
But the download of the installer was always working at work.

Hope this helps,

Olaf

Hmm. I just tried it from my Windows 7 machine with IE and FF and it
worked fine.

I wonder if the server response for the crossdomain.xml was too slow. Can
you access this file in your browser? [1]
What player version are you running? Are you accessing the installer page
over http and not https? Also try hitting [2] from the browser. It
should redirect you to [3]

Hi Alex,
seems that the issue is not solved:
FlashPlayer throws a "sandbox violation error" now.
Same behaviour for IE and Firefox:
http://cutpi.com/mf6
http://cutpi.com/u2h

Chrome display the "Page not found" site:
http://cutpi.com/xjx

Found the link at the end of the malformed url:

Thanks,

This is the url:
http://flex.apache.org/installerbadge/yle%20type=%22text/css%22...

Same behaviour with IE, Firefox and Chrome.

Could somebody provide a working link?

Thanks,
Olaf

Hi Om,

It’s a similar issue as what is being discussed on the dev list.

This is the URL:
http://flex.apache.org/installer.html <http://flex.apache.org/installer.html>

The malformed url it’s giving when you click on the download button contains CSS in the URL.

Thanks,
Justin

What is the exact url? The page seems to work fine for me.

Thanks,
Om
