[jira] Created: (MYFACES-430) inputDate (calendar) and French Locale

inputDate (calendar) and French Locale
--------------------------------------

         Key: MYFACES-430
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-430
     Project: MyFaces
        Type: Bug
  Components: Tomahawk
    Versions: Nightly Build
    Reporter: Maxence Dewil
    Priority: Minor

When the French Locale is enabled, the calendar gives me "Today is jeu., 18 ao& 2005" instead of something like "Nous sommes le jeu. 18 août 2005" .
So there is a problem with the french translation and the charset.

Can you try this again with my latest changes? There is now some escaping function called when writing out values, this could help with your problems.

Martin

Ok, it works now for non-english characters.

For the french translation I suppose the words are in the calendar html/js code itself.. So that kind of change is not possible now.

I think the bug can be closed.

Maxence Dewil
