Portal-fw question

Installed Cocoon 2.1.4 with portal-fw demo included.

If you log in as "cocoon"/"cocoon" the admin portal appears upon all
subsequent logins.

I seem to recall this was an issue back in the 2.0 days, and that that was
why the old "sunspot demo" was accessed from the main sitemap.

Is that the case, or is it something else. And how can this be avoided when
developing your own portal using portal-fw components?
