[jira] [Created] (GUACAMOLE-509) Clipboard Permission Manager - breaks Google Hangouts and possibly other Chrome functionality

Joe Maubach created GUACAMOLE-509:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Clipboard Permission Manager - breaks Google Hangouts and possibly other Chrome functionality
                 Key: GUACAMOLE-509
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GUACAMOLE-509
             Project: Guacamole
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: guacamole
    Affects Versions: 0.9.14
Environment: ChromeOS v63, Chrome web browser v63/64 on Windows 7/10. Guacamole 0.9.14. Clipboard Permission Manager version 0.3
            Reporter: Joe Maubach
             Fix For: 1.0.0
         Attachments: Screenshot 2018-02-16 at 10.09.34 AM.png

Our environment uses Guacamole for RDP from Chrome web browser primarily from ChromeOS devices. We also have some of our users accessing from Chrome browser on Windows 7/10 machines.

We have found recently (within the last month) that on all Chrome platforms the Clipboard Permission Manager extension breaks the video chat functionality in Google Hangouts - the "video call" button no longer works.

Users can still create video Hangouts via Calendar and access them via hyperlink, but we have isolated this exclusively to this Chrome extension, either managed via G Suite or installed on a per-user basis.
