Java 6 in plugins

Is this page still accurate or should it be deleted?

I'd say remove it: information doesn't require a specific page, it is  
common sense to me, even though we're now moving to 7 and some to 8 when  
required by a dependency. And it is hard to maintain the list of plugins  
that match a specific Java version.
And the references to this page should be removed too.
