[jira] [Commented] (CB-3754) Cordova-JS build label is incorrect on master

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-3754?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13702810#comment-13702810 ]

Andrew Grieve commented on CB-3754:
-----------------------------------

This relates to the problem with the version scripts I think. [~iclelland] and I were discussing the possibility of tagging master after creating release branches. E.g. branch 3.0.x, then on master tag "3.1.0dev" so that git describe will be more meaningful.

> Not a huge issue as it seems to work fine for branches, but on master, running jake in the cordova-js repo produces javascript files for all of the platforms. The cordova-js-build-label for those javascript files is 2.7.0rc1-84-g62c5786. On the 2.8.x branch of cordova-js, the build label is 2.8.0rc1-0-g22bc4d8
