build problem

Hi,

I tried to run the make file after finished doing all the Steps for doing a
UNIX build,
I got the errors in the make file complaining the following statements:
ifndef
ifdef
ifeq

I used "runConfigure -p solaris -c cc -x CC" to setup the make file
the version that I down load was for Solaris: Xalan-C 1 1-solaris.tar.gz
What do I have to do?
