Turning logging OFF and ON at runtime

Hi...

	I'm using a PropertyConfigurator with configureAndWatch() to monitor
a config file for control of log4j ... 

	Is there and easy way to set logging TOTALLY OFF ... and later
TOTALLY ON ... WITHOUT having to set each and every category to a high
(FATAL) level?

	Is there one single switch somewhere that will do this ???
