Patrick Hunt updated ZOOKEEPER-1737:

> zk scripts no longer work when symlinked
> ----------------------------------------
>
> Key: ZOOKEEPER-1737
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-1737
> Project: ZooKeeper
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: scripts
> Affects Versions: 3.4.5
> Environment: RHEL6.4
> Reporter: Chris Seawood

> At some point since 3.3, the shell scripts were updated to move away from using readlink to using BASH_SOURCE. The problem is that BASH_SOURCE doesn't resolve symlinks so when /usr/bin/zookeeper-cli is symlinked to /usr/lib/zookeeper/bin/zkCli.sh it fails every single time.
