installing errors(cvs version)

I recently got jetspeed v.1.3a.1 working and from reading alot of these
posts it seems that there is more features in 1.3a.2, so I am going to try
that instead. I downloaded cvs(jakarta-jetspeed) 2 days ago I put it in
foo(folder) and ran the .\build webapp. Running this from command prompt I
get error webapp folder is not part of this project.I then run build.bat by
double click. It runs the script and then pauses on: compiling 200+ files.
After a few seconds it dumps out mucho "cannot resolve symbol" errors. Any
ideas, could this be because I have old version running? As expected there
is no jetspeed.war file generated. (I understand the cvs is not a guaranteed
to work release) Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!
