Range Filter on multiple terms


I'm able to do a single RangeFilter on a term:
new RangeFilter("date", lower,upper,false,false);
 
I want to add a second rangefilter as well.
 
Is there a way to chain filters?  
Or should the second range be a RangeQuery?
