hello, I would like to ask when will the latest stable version will
be released?
First of all, thanks all your guys to create such an awesome project, it’s really wonderful. But since it just support OS X and CentOS currently, not stable on other linux distributions, so I have two problems:
1. I would like to ask when will the latest stable version will be released? I’m really looking forward to that?
2. Is there any place or blog to talk about Zeppelin, I think gitter.im is a good choice?

Hi Tao,
There has been a lot of improvement concerning cross platform compiling.
Be sure to have the latest source code from Master branch,
and also try to delete *bower_components* and *node_modules *folders from
zeppelin-web before compiling zeppelin

Since Zeppelin is based on the JVM you can make it work on other Linux distro. I successfully make it work (compile + start Zeppelin) on Ubuntu few weeks ago.
For the first release, we are on the process to move the code source to Apache repo and then we will bundle it. I guess it might take a couple of weeks ..
finally, the only place to talk about Zeppelin is on this mailing list. but thank you to suggest other alternative we will definitely take a look at it.

I have pushed a Docker image containing Zeppelin on the Docker public hub,
you can pull it from the repository lbiagioli/zeppelin.
