[jira] [Created] (NIFI-4797) Allow NiFi UI to be displayed in a frame

Virgil Fritz Taneza created NIFI-4797:
-----------------------------------------

Summary: Allow NiFi UI to be displayed in a frame
                 Key: NIFI-4797
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-4797
             Project: Apache NiFi
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: Core Framework
    Affects Versions: 1.4.0
            Reporter: Virgil Fritz Taneza

We have a web-based solution that is to be served by instances deploy-able in Azure, AWS and VMWare. In this solution, we are trying to incorporate NiFi by starting the service in the same server instance and displaying the NiFi UI in a frame of our said solution. In this setup, we started using NiFi 1.1.2 and it worked. Now when we tried to update to 1.4.0, the NiFi UI can't be displayed in a frame due to some error.  I submitted a question to the developer list and one of the suggested workaround was to change the value provided to the response header sent by the Jetty server. I wonder if we can have a configurable solution to this so we don't need to modify the code every time there's new release.

Here is the link to the question I submitted to the developer list: http://apache-nifi-developer-list.39713.n7.nabble.com/NiFI-1-4-0-UI-can-t-be-displayed-in-an-IFrame-td17427.html
