   Hi @timsaucer, I'd be interested in contributing to this issue.
   
   I understand that the extension-author skill should wait until the codec-identity gap in `with_extensions` is resolved, to avoid documenting a temporary workaround.
   
   Are you planning to implement this yourself, or would you welcome an external contributor taking it on once the prerequisite is ready?
   
   I'd be happy to work on the skill and its audit tooling, following the proposed structure and existing FFI examples.
