[VOTE] Termination of WSRP4J podling
The Portals PMC as Sponsor of the WSRP4J podling as well as the project community itself has voted [1,2] positive [3] to terminate the
podling due to lack of interest to continue the project.
I would like to call the Incubator PMC to ratify this decision. Please vote on terminating the WSRP4J podling:
[ ] +1, terminate WSRP4J
[ ] -1, do not terminate WSRP4J

Thanks, that really helped!
I've scanned all incubator site-author documents with references to WSRP4J and took if from there.
AFAIK I've covered all needed site-author specific changes and committed those back to site-publish and ran svn up on people.apache.org
Furthermore, I removed WSRP4J from the Incubator ReportingSchedule Wiki page.
I also asked infra to shutdown the WSRP4J mailing lists and make the svn tree read-only (INFRA-2631).
Also, we added a status update on the Portals website about the WSRP4J termination and I just send out a final and last email to the WSRP4J
mailing lists.
If anyone thinks there is something else left to do, please let me know.

There ain't no exactlies.
Searching for the term "Retire" has better results. However as far
as i recall not much actual docs. Searching the mail archives for
previous retired projects would help.

do find-in-page "retire" ...
"Dormant or Retired - Remove from the ReportingSchedule.
In the Projects in incubation table, move it to the "Dormant"
or "Retired" section. Remove entry from right-side panel. (doc)

"document the process for a podling that has decided to go to dormant status"
which links to some previous ideas about what needs to be done.

I'm not all to familiar with what the next steps should be.
As a minimum the WSRP4J incubator status page at http://incubator.apache.org/projects/wsrp4j.html needs updating (not sure I have the
appropriate rights for that myself), and the board should be informed about this in the next incubator report.
Furthermore, I assume the wsrp4j mailing list (-dev and -user) should be closed as well as the svn project under /portals/wsrp4j should be
made read-only and possibly moved somewhere else?
Finally, at the Portals PMC we can take care of removing the WSRP4J website or possibly should it be replaced with a notice of termination page?
