SQL Extension FilterExprWalker NPE

Good morning,

I've already contacted John Gentilin directly about this problem, but 
I thought I might as well open the question to the list as well.

 From what I hear, the Xalan-J SQL extension is working except for 
several NPEs in FilterExprWalker.  To quote John:

I'm getting this error now, while trying to use the MM.MySQL driver 
with the SQL Extension in Xalan-J 2.3.1.

Can anyone else recommend a fix for this, or should I wait for John's reply?
