[jira] Created: (TS-549) Do we need
proxy.config.system.memalign_heap ?
Do we need proxy.config.system.memalign_heap ?
----------------------------------------------
Key: TS-549
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TS-549
Project: Traffic Server
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Cleanup
Reporter: Leif Hedstrom
Fix For: 2.1.5
I don't know under what conditions this option is helpful, it seems to make no difference. And even so, I suspect it's not "correct" with very large cashes? Does any one know what benefit it'll have to "pre" call the posix_memalign? I'd imagine it's to avoid fragmentation, but do we really have that problem?
