Problem with reload application context

Hello

Sometimes I have problem with reload my application context in Tomcat.
It can not start again (I must restart Tomcat). I suppose that problem 
make for example NullPointerException and not closed hibernate session 
etc. How can I add (and where)  my method to close sessions etc.? Any 
suggestions?
