resursive build - modules using always using pom.xml

When we run a multi project build with an alternative pom file, the modules its still using pom.xml.
Shouldn't the modules use the same alternative pom file which we passed.
Could someone fix at the earliest as its a showstopper for our development.

Resolution: Fixed
Won't fix. You should use profiles to use different sets of dependencies and behavior. Encouraging multipe hierarchies of POMs is a bad practice.
