I can't seem to push to the incubator-sentry repo at https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator-sentry.git

I followed the instructions here: https://git-wip-us.apache.org/#committers-getting-started

If I don't do the ~/.netrc step, I get the following:
error: no DAV locking support on https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator-sentry.git/
fatal: git-http-push failed

If I do the ~/.netrc step, I get the following:
Counting objects: 39, done.
Compressing objects: 100% (14/14), done.
Writing objects: 100% (21/21), 8.60 KiB, done.
Total 21 (delta 3), reused 0 (delta 0)
remote: You are not authorized to edit this repository.
remote: 

I am a committer on incubator-sentry (see here: https://incubator.apache.org/projects/sentry.html) and the people I've checked with on the project say I should have access.
