[jira] [Commented] (NIFI-3320) Listen to SNMP Trap

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-3320?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16074501#comment-16074501 ]

Lars Francke commented on NIFI-3320:
------------------------------------

I'm looking into this issue. I have never written a "long-running" processor that actively listens for incoming connections though. I know there exist some of those processors and I found the `AbstractListenEventBatchingProcessor` class. Is this the way to go? Any other hints you mave have for me would be great as well.

> As part NIFI-1537 SNMP Get, Walk and Set were introduced. However SNMP Traps sent to NIFI cannot be converted to a flowfile currently. This is a fairly useful feature.
