OAGIS component
Hi All,
About OAGIS module, I would like to know if we can consider this module as complete ? It seems from some feedbacks I had that it needs more work, is there a roadmap or should we create one ?
The persons who asked me about OAGIS component status want to use it with an ETL tool.
Do you know if some companies have already used it ?
Thanks
Jacques

Sure, I can try to add them manually.
When you/they decide to go that way have each of them send me an email
from the address they want subscribed.

Thanks David,
I have asked the concerned companie., The same that has problems with some MLs subscriptions. I have also asked them to look
closerly at their subscription problem. Is it possible to add them by hand if they do not find a reason on their side ? I may help
if needed.
Thanks

The term "complete" can mean lots of different things. Could you be
more specific?
I can say that it does not currently implement all possible OAGIS
messages, not even all nouns (let alone noun-verb combinations). The
few that are implemented are well tested and being used in production,
and they have a LOT of error handling and are really quite solid.

Use it with an ETL tool? Would that be for mapping data going in and
out of the OAGIS messages, or what? I'm not quite sure what this
really means... so I'm not sure how to answer.

Yes. I can confirm this is being used in production. Because of a non-
disclosure agreement I can't say who the companies are on either side
of the integration though (not yet anyway). They have been in
production for a few months now.
