[jira] [Commented] (OAK-3675) Create a logger for failed RDB queries

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-3675?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15024575#comment-15024575 ]

Tomek Rękawek commented on OAK-3675:
------------------------------------

Pull request:
https://github.com/apache/jackrabbit-oak/pull/48

Patch file:
https://github.com/apache/jackrabbit-oak/pull/48.diff

I needed to inherit from {{org.apache.tomcat.jdbc.pool.interceptor.AbstractQueryReport}}, so I changed the scope of the {{tomcat-jdbc}} from test to default and marked as optional (in the same way the mongo driver dependency is included) in {{oak-core}}. I also added it to the {{dependencyManagement}} in the parent {{pom.xml}}, so the driver version is defined in one place only.

> For debugging and profiling purposes it could be useful to log all failed RDB queries (in the same way the SlowQueryReport logs underperforming calls).
