BinBuild.sh in 2.0

I would like to request that people begin to test the binbuild.sh script
in the 2.0 repository.  I made it work a while ago on my Linux box, but it
really needs to be tested on many more platforms.  Since we are officially
moving towards a beta now, I would like to know that this script has been
tested on as many platforms as possible before we hit beta.
