No, I am afraid not, this is purely a configuration issue.
We have the possibility to specify connectionLimit on a per service basis as 
well as for all services. The per service setting had no effect, though the 
global one was fine.

Does this relate to Michael Nestler's email bug report this morning?  He 
reported it against James 2.1.3, not 2.2.0a15.  We might need to create 
more versions for what we have released in the wild.  Also, you have to 
reopen an issue to change an issue (such as the affects version).
