Unable to connect using ODBC JDBC bridge

Hi James,

I am trying to setup ODBC JDBC bridge to phoenix.

My current configuration is Cloudera 4.7.2 CDH
HBase 0.94.x
Phoenix 3.0.0
EasySoft ODBC JDBC bridge

I have made required configuration.

But, while Testing it throw error

Am I missing something? DO I need to copy hbase-site.xml?

Hi Jeffrey,

I tried changing original hbase-site.xml on my cloudera box.

FYI, I am trying to connect HBase, installed on cloudera box with ODBC JDBC
bridge installed Windows machine. My actual aim is to connect tableau with
HBase via phoenix.

You can try to add the following into your hbase-site.xml and put the config
in your class path.

 <property>

       <name>hbase.defaults.for.version.skip</name>

        <value>true</value>

  </property>
