[jira] Commented: (CASSANDRA-49) Add versions to jira

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-49?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12697868#action_12697868 ]

Jonathan Ellis commented on CASSANDRA-49:
-----------------------------------------

I don't think that's the case. The timestamps will tell us more about chronology than the version will. And if it is assigned to 0.1 after 0.2 is released, who knows if it was fixed in 0.2 or not? But if it is reported against trunk then it is clearly still broken until it is resolved.
