[jira] [Created] (NETBEANS-5583) Don't close and remove project from Project Group when project is missing.

Warren Crossing created NETBEANS-5583:
-----------------------------------------

Summary: Don't close and remove project from Project Group when project is missing.
                 Key: NETBEANS-5583
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-5583
             Project: NetBeans
          Issue Type: Improvement
Components: projects - Generic Projects UI
    Affects Versions: 12.2
            Reporter: Warren Crossing

I have stacks of projects on an external mounted disk.

But when netbeans starts they aren't available because the disk is not yet mounted.. and so they get removed from the project group.

If I switch to another group. They are permanently removed from the group because I have save on switch turned on.

Is there anyway to keep the pointer to the project, but mark it as offline? To be manually closed but not automatically closed.

Cheers.

Otherwise I have to reopen the projects everytime I restart.
