[jira] [Comment Edited] (CASSANDRA-7620) Allow user stress commands
to specify the seed on the command line

Are you passing a different seed each time? Or do you have any of the insert.\{partitions,pervisit,perbatch} settings set to a distribution other than FIXED(1)/1 (or simply FIXED(X) for partitions)? Because the clustering columns should be deterministically generated, and without those settings all would be inserted. With them a random selection will be.

> Although I don't want to add to parameter bloat, it would be really useful if the seed for a particular profile could be set on the command line. This makes it easier to run the same command with many different seed settings without modifying the profile file.
