When navigating to a sandbox or another page where the client talks directly to a slave, the UI can redirect the user to the homepage if navigation fails but does not explain what happened.

Navigation can fail if the slave's hostname or port is not accessible by the user or if the slave has timed out but hasn't been removed by the master yet.

The UI should still redirect to the homepage but should explain what happened and possible reasons for the failed nav.
