Resolution: Not A Problem
It is supported. You can create a location that represents a domain socket and pass it to FlightClient.connect or FlightServerBase.

>
> Key: ARROW-16249
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-16249
> Project: Apache Arrow
> Issue Type: Wish
> Components: FlightRPC, Python
> Reporter: Lorry
> Priority: Minor
>
> It seems that there is already a method called `for_grpc_unix` in `python/pyarrow/_flight.pyx`, but not used in FlightClient.__init__.
> Is there any official plan to support uds in python lib?
