Can XalanJ1 and XalanJ2 be in the same classpath and used conjoin tly in a safe manner ?

Subject : Can XalanJ1 and XalanJ2 be in the same classpath and used
conjointly in a safe manner ?

SO far I made xalanJ1 and XalanJ2 working conjointly without trouble. But
I'm afraid that they might share some Class name. 

Could someone confirm/deny that fact ?
