The DynaProperties are created based on the class name returned by 
ResultSetMetaData.getColumnClassName(index). I believe the problem must 
therefore lie in the jdbc driver you're using providing the incorrect class 
name value.

Just out of interest, what is the database and jdbc driver you're using?
