What is meant by current working directory of your servlet engine ?

This is where the *.lst files must go.....

I am using Tomcat 4 and tried a few directories but after I run the
StockQuote example I get :

faultCode: null
faultString: User 'user1' not authenticated
faultActor: null
faultDetails: null
