Splash news page seems outdated.
I just noticed this but the startup page news items and the “All News”link still seems to point to netbeans.org <http://netbeans.org/>, which hasn’t been updated since last year.

That sounds like a great idea. I do look at that page at start-up to see if anything is new.

I think the 'News & Tutorials' column should be removed in the splash
screen and that the 'Blogs" column should be renamed as 'Announcements'.
We'd have a single column of info, all of it coming from
blogs.apache.org/netbeans.
