CVS commit access for James Berry
I'd like to propose cvs commit access for James Berry
<jb...@criticalpath.com>.
James has contributed a very nice looking Macintosh port
of Xerces-C, and has agreed to maintain it. This is
a great contribution to have, and a non-trivial piece
of work. I'd like to welcome James into the project.
(And, I'd like to get out of the business of putting his
patches into CVS myself, and sometimes mangling them in
the process. )
Dirk, after the last go-arounds for granting commit access,
I'm a little unclear on exactly what is needed to make
this happen. Do we need a vote on the xerces-c-dev list?

Aren't we supposed to get kick-backs for this kind of thing? No? Hmmm... I
was misinformed. Oh well, I'll still give a +1.

Re: CVS commit access for James Berry
Posted by Andy Heninger <an...@jtcsv.com>.
To add James as a CVS committer to the Xerces-C project we need to have a
show of support from this group, the xerces-c-dev list. So could we have
some +1 for James. I'll start
+1
Once there are a reasonable handful of responses, the folks at apache.org
will actually set up an account with the necessary permissions. If you's
like to see the Mac port stay up to date, please vote!
