Fwd: Use of style = "fill:url()"

  I am using the batik canvas and I am trying to load an SVG file having the attribute : style = "fill:url()" , but i am recieving the following exception...org.apache.batik.bridge.BridgeException.
   
  What does this exception means? How am i suppose to solve this

Ok, so in general this exception means there was something wrong with
the element that prevented building the graphics node for it--an
invalid attribute value, for example.  Please give us the message
associated with that exception so that we can diagnose further.
