I am not sure why this started happening.

I frequently create Presentations via Impress. When I tried to make an image a
hyperlink the toolbar button highlights, but no dialogue box or options opens.


The button remains highligted until I click it again. Then it appears normally.

I have tried using the drop down Insert Menu instead, but the behavior is the
same.
I have found the same behavior in Calc.
I have reinstalled the software several times all to no effect.

This appears to be some bug.

Please if you are unsure report always your operating  system.
Please if you are unsure how to reconstruct the bug ask on Forum.openoffice.org
there are more people that help. Especially if you are primary looking for a
fix.

If you have found the issue and you think it is still a bug, reopen this bug,
and copy the forum thread. Mention the mailing list title, or something.

If forum is no solution, try users mailing list. If that stays unanswered write
a friendly mail to dev mailing list ask for help. 

Please, point out the help request you have placed so we have a chance catching
up with existing.

Please give people some time to react.
