+<h1 id="native-language-projects-wzxhzdk0-at-apache-openoffice">Native Language Projects <br> at Apache OpenOffice</h1>
+<p>Apache OpenOffice continues support for legacy OpenOffice.org Native Language
+Projects (N-L). Full details about the structure and governance of individual native language areas
+that comply with Apache governance policies<br />
+is still being determined (as of 16-Mar-2012). Currently, the scope of this support consists of:</p>
+<ul>
+<li>continued hosting of native sites on <a href="http://www.openoffice.org/projects/native-lang.html">www.openoffice.org</a>.
+Established native language "friendly" links have also established -- for example, <a href="http://www.openoffice.org/fr/">fr.openoffice.org</a></li>
+<li>establishing native language mailing lists (as requested and needed).
+The establishment of any native language mailing list requires the approval of Apache OpenOffice
+PPMC and typically at least two moderators. Requests for additional native language mailing lists can be
+made via the <a href="mailto:ooo-dev@incubator.apache.org">Apache OpenOffice developer mailing list</a>.</li>
+<li>establishing a <a href="https://translate.apache.org/">Pootle server</a> to aid with translation.</li>
