Saving Tree component order

This is my first experience with using a component that is not 
prepackaged. I am using 5.2-Snapshot and I need a tree or list component 
that is able to have the order changed by the user and this

seems to be what I need, but I was wondering how to return the saved 
changes to the tapestry page, so I can then save this order to the 
database? Thanks in advance for any hints.
