Performance of SVN on Windows and Linux

Hello,

I would like to know which is better SVN on Windows or SVN on Linux ?

Also if anybody has faced any issues in using SVN on Windows or Linux then please tell.

In our company we are migrating from VSS to SVN.

So want to know whether SVN server in better on Windows or Linux ??

Please help

My stock answer to questions like this is that it's irrelevant.
Subversion in general is very performant, and whilst there may be
slight advantages in one platform over another, IMHO it's generally
best to pick a platform that works for you - i.e. if you/your server
support team know Windows inside out, use Windows. If they know Linux
best, then use Linux.
