[jira] [Created] (INFRA-7517) Disable Github Commenting in Spark
JIRA's
[DONT USE] Patrick Wendell created INFRA-7517:
-------------------------------------------------
Summary: Disable Github Commenting in Spark JIRA's
Key: INFRA-7517
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-7517
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Git, JIRA
Reporter: [DONT USE] Patrick Wendell
Priority: Critical
This is a follow up to INFRA-6419. When our JIRA went live today it began filling with comments from github. This is not something we want for our project because we use github to give dozens or hundreds of review comments for each patch.
In the short term, if this connection could could just be disabled that would be great. Maybe longer term we could see if we can send a reduced amount of information from github. E.g. only merges.
I set this as a higher priority because it's really making it hard for us to use or own JIRA. Feel free to assign the priority however you see fit, though - not sure if these are even used in the INFRA JIRA.
