Xerces-P help, please!
Kind Xerces developers...
It's really quiet over on the Xerces P mailing list. However, we have a
volunteer
to take all the work so far, to merge several versions, and get it all back
into CVS.
Jason Stewart has three +1 votes, but only one of them is an Official
Committer (me). But, that's just about everybody who is participating on
the Xerces-P list right now! The other Xerces-P committers seem to have gone
silent...
Jason is volunteering to get all the latest work into the CVS repository,
starting with Harmon's xerces-1.1.0 and then Eric Peter's work. He has 6
years experience managing cvs repositories, and is currently maintainer
of two projects on SourceForge.
Could I get a couple of you Xerces-C committers (since Xerces-P uses
Xerces-C) to view Jason's record in the Xerces-P archive, and to give a
couple more committer votes, so we reach an official +3 vote? Certainly the
remaining folks on the Xerces-P mailing list want to see this happen, and I
think it will be good for Xerces-P.
What do you think?
Thanks,
Mike

Now that I _finally_ got into the list archives...
+1
(I'm a Xerces-C committer.)
