Greetings...
First let me say that running multi domains on one domain is great. But
now to the bug. I have four domains running on my box.
My systems is a linux box running as router/hosts.
In order to alias three i.p. addresses so that the networks could see the
domains.. I had to alias the box actual number 206.202.15.66 to itself.
If I did not do that it would not let me out.
Here is how it is setup....
ppp0:0 Link encap:Point-Point Protocol
inet addr:206.202.15.95 P-t-P:206.202.0.14 Mask:255.255.255.192
UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING MTU:1600 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0
ppp0:1 Link encap:Point-Point Protocol
inet addr:206.202.15.66 P-t-P:206.202.0.14 Mask:255.255.255.192
UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING MTU:1600 Metric:1
RX packets:1 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0
ppp0:2 Link encap:Point-Point Protocol
inet addr:206.202.15.96 P-t-P:206.202.0.14 Mask:255.255.255.192
UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING MTU:1600 Metric:1
RX packets:2 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0
ppp0:3 Link encap:Point-Point Protocol
inet addr:206.202.15.97 P-t-P:206.202.0.14 Mask:255.255.255.192
UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING MTU:1600 Metric:1
RX packets:3 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0
Now the problem is weird, anything behind the box... or my local area
network, can only see but the orginal domain. Anything on the other side
of the box(the internet) can see everything...
can you explain this....
Thank you very Much ...
