help! unlock my file

Hello,

I don’t know what to do.  This is the second time I am writing a paper and when I go to open it. It won’t open in OpenOffice.
It will open in TextEditor but it only shows part of it.

I don’t know whats going on.  I have a Mac.

Please help me.
