examples regarding reading excel files

  Hi All,
I gone through the Apache Poi how-to docs, faq etc.
I coudln't see much on reading excel file.
It would be very helpful if some one shows the links to reading excel files and taking information from them using apache poi.
A couple of examples would be sufficient, say for example reading a particular row cell and displaying that column info etc.

Thanks in advance.

AW: examples regarding reading excel files

Posted by "KHZ (SAW)" <ka...@sawag.com>.
Hi Jana.

The HSSF sample from your last thread contains exactly this. Just have a
look at it.

Just refine some things there. Check whether a row is null and whether a
cell is null to avoid errors when full rows or single cells are unused.

Regards,	Karl-Heinz.
