    Resolution: Won't Fix

Resolving as WONTFIX, I don't see any issues that show we need to document this, and I think documenting process often leads to brittle bureaucracy.

> Key: LEGAL-68
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-68
> Project: Legal Discuss
> Issue Type: Task
> Reporter: Robert Burrell Donkin
> Assignee: Robert Burrell Donkin
>
> Background
> -------------
> Apache is a very different organisation than it was in the early noughties. The open source ecosystem is also radically different. Incident response strategies which were successful then may have become outdated. No guidance is available to projects on the right way to respond to incidents and no review has been made of best practice.
> Approach
> ----------
> Discuss past approaches on legal discuss and try to achieve consensus on a set of guidelines for projects.
