In general Hazelcast is more focused on the "distributed"  on the distributed part than ehcache.

That means that inside an environment that allows multicasting, Hazlecast instances will automatically discover each other and will be distributed with no additional configuration required. Of course you can configure this behavior if you want to disable multicasting etc.
Now as camel components camel-hazelcast offers some more features like seda, queues, atomic numbers etc.
