keepgenerated in ejbjar-weblogic not working

Hi:
   I am using jakarta-ant 1.4.1 (downloaded the binary form from the web
site). I remembered it used to work, but now, the keepgenerated option for
the weblogic subtask of ejbjar is not working. I can't find ejbgen directory
anywhere. Does anyone have the same problem?
   The excerpt of my build.xml is as shown:

     <ejbjar srcdir="${classes.dir}"
         descriptordir="${src.dir}/tmp"
         basejarname="${appname}${ejb.suffix}tmp" >

     <!-- weblogic specific stuff -->
     <weblogic destdir="${ejbs.dir}"
               suffix=".jar"
